修了要件　Credit Requirement

博士前期課程　Master’s Level Section

自然科学研究科（博士前期課程）を修了するためには，研究科に２年以上在学し，必要な単位数を修得し， 英語能力の基準を満たし，研究指導を受けて，修士論文又は特定の課題についての研究の成果の審査もしくはQE に合格することが必要です。ただし，優れた研究業績をあげ，１年以上在学した者については，在学期間を短縮する場合があります。なお，修了要件の異なるプログラムやコースがあります。

To receive a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, students must be enrolled in the Graduate School for at least 2 years, earn the required number of credits, meet the standards of English proficiency, receive research guidance, and pass the Master’s thesis or reserch results on a specific topic review or QE. Students who are enrolled in the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology for one year or longer and achieve outstanding research results may be granted early completion of the Master’s level section. However, the completion requirements are different in some programs and courses.

博士後期課程　Doctoral Level Section

自然科学研究科（博士後期課程）を修了するためには，研究科に３年以上在学し，必要な単位数を修得し， 英語能力の基準を満たし，研究指導を受けて，博士論文の審査及び最終試験に合格することが必要です。ただし，優れた研究業績をあげ，１年以上在学した者については，在学期間を短縮する場合があります。なお，修了要件の異なるプログラムやコースがあります。

To receive a Doctoral degree from the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, students must be enrolled in the Graduate School for at least 3 years, earn the required number of credits, meet the standards of English proficiency, receive research guidance, and pass the Doctoral dissertation review and final examination. Students who are enrolled in the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology for one year or longer and achieve outstanding research results may be granted early completion of the Doctoral level section. However, the completion requirements are different in some programs and courses.

研究科（博士前期課程）を修了した者には，修士の学位を授与します。修士の学位を授与するにあたって付記する専攻分野の名称は，「理学，工学又は学術」のいずれかです。

Master’s degrees shall be granted to persons who have completed the Master’s level section. Name of degree subjects noted on degree certificates is Master of Science, Master of Engineering or Master of Philosophy.

博士後期課程　Doctoral Level Section

研究科（博士後期課程）を修了した者には，博士の学位を授与します。博士の学位を授与するにあたって付記する専攻分野の名称は，「理学，工学又は学術」のいずれかです。

Doctoral degrees shall be granted to persons who have completed the doctoral level section. Name of degree subjects noted on degree certificates is Doctor of Philosophy in Science, Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering or Doctor of Philosophy.
